Blaenavon: That’s a lot of tour dates!

After hearing that Blaenavon were embarking on yet another tour, we couldn’t contain our excitement at WaveByte. Heightened only by how impressive their debut album was, we have been spinning it since its release in April last year. The hard work that the trio put into their work is second to none, playing with many bands as a support artist and choosing not to release their album until they were 100% happy – taking over 5 years to produce! This is reflected by the 4/5 bytes review which we gave to the album.

The cherry on top the cake has to be that they will be stopping by Guildford’s Boileroom on their latest tour. Not only is it local to us but it is undoubtedly one of the most iconic venues in the country. The intimate setting fused with the band’s underrated talent has only increased our excitement for the show.

Blaenavon will be performing at the following venues this October:
3rd – St. Albans, The Horn
4th – Cambridge, Story’s Field Centre
5th – Gloucester, Gloucester Guildhall
6th – Manchester, Neighbourhood Festival 2018
7th – Bridgend, Hobos
9th – York, The Crescent
10th – Middlesbrough, Student Union, Teesside University
12th – Edinburgh, The Mash House
13th – Hull, The Welly
14th – Chester, The Live Rooms
15th – Worchester, Marr’s Bar
16th – Coventry, The Arches Venue
18th – Norwich, Norwich Arts Centre
19th – Guildford, Boileroom
Making stops at 14 venues, spanning across the country, there is bound to be one that is local to you. Blaenavon are sure to bring with them smooth and silky instrumentals, along with lyrics which you can’t help but sing along to. I am certain that it will be a night to remember.
