No Rome Do It Again with their newest single Seventeen.
No Rome’s recent signing to Dirty Hit only adds to the magnitude of talent possessed by the record label. The 24th of May 2018 saw the release of Do It Again – the first of a new wave of songs from the Philippine-based artist. Co-produced by Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975, Do It Again was the first of a 4 track EP titled RIP Indo Hisashi, which is set for release later this year.
Matty Healy in interviews has stated how No Rome has become his muse and that they have been producing music in tandem for some time now. No Rome has since released single number two under Dirty Hit – Seventeen.
The social media response that Seventeen has received is emphatic. Matty Healy tweeted out ‘THIS SONG IS SO BEAUTIFUL. ITS A MODERN R&B CLASSIC’
a response which has been echoed by No Rome’s fans across the platform. Seventeen is a breath of fresh air to listen to; you’d struggle to find another artist with the same flow matched by the vocal capacity of this artist.
No Rome is definitely an up and comer who will, if he maintains the same high standard shown in these first two singles, go very far in the industry. He is most definitely an artist worth checking out – there are big things to come from him in future releases.
