1. Introduce us to your band!

We are Dark Rain:

Dudley on vocals/lead guitar

Kelleigh on lead vocals

Brian on guitar

Bill on bass

Devin on drums

2. How did you guys start out?

Brian and I started out as a typical Garage band under the name Strictly Business, Kelleigh was at a show and we heard her singing in the crowd. We asked her to audition and the rest is history.

3. Describe your band’s sound

We are a mix of classic metal and modern rock with some blues and pop overtones thrown in.

4. What influences your craft?

For songwriting, its usually life events that spawn the ideas that generate the lyrics that we write.

5. What makes your band different? Why should people listen to you?

We have a pretty unique sound, and it is diverse because of the dual lead vocals. People should listen to us because we are songwriters first and put everything on the table.

6. When introducing people to your music, what song should I show them first? What is your quintessential track?

For the first CD, I would say Arc as it has lots of great riffs and hooks with a powerful chorus. For the last CD, I would say Behind the Screen as it is a straight-out rock/metal track.

7. What has been the biggest struggle in your career so far?

The biggest struggle we’ve always had is getting the word out about our music, it’s a very trial and error process.

8. What has been the biggest highlight in your career so far?

We’ve opened for some really great bands like Sponge, Firehouse and Leaving Eden

9. How bright is the future of your band – what are the plans?

Very bright, We have big plans for the new CD “The Illusion Fades” and are hoping to do some touring behind it in the fall.

10. When all is said and done, how would you like to be remembered?

As great storytellers who were well established with their craft.

Thanks for taking the time to talk to us!
