Rising hot-shots The Amazons gear up to grace the UK with their biggest headline tour to date.

After doing a quick whip round at the WaveByte HQ, I was bemused to discover that none of us had yet had the pleasure of catching The Amazons live. As avid gig goers I found it hard to believe that one of the UK’s quickest rising bands had managed to pass us by but, then again, this is a testament to just how far they seem to have come in what seems like such a short period. The various outlets tipping them to be the breakthrough act of 2017 couldn’t have been more spot on as their debut record soared to #8 in the UK album chart.

In addition to their triumphant introduction to the British masses, The Amazons were doing the rounds to make a name for themselves in the live music scene. However, the Reading quadrant ventured far further than home and conquered the likes of Japan, New York, LA and pretty much every crevice of European soil. With the momentum ever perpetual, the lads will be looking to continue to turn heads in 2018. What better way to make this happen than with their biggest UK tour to date?!

This February, The Amazons will be entertaining the following venues:

1st – Birmingham, O2 Institute
2nd – Glasgow, Garage
3rd – Manchester, Albert Hall
8th – Cambridge, Junction 1
9th – Portsmouth, Pyramids
10th – Reading, The Hexagon

Do not sleep on this tour, most venues are selling out at a blistering pace if they’re not already sold out.

If you are lucky enough to make it down to one of the shows, then there’s no doubting what you can expect to see. Bulky riffs, silky indie vibes and infectious singalongs will surely make for an evening that’s impossible to forget.
